Generative AI has been in the spotlight for almost a year, but the issue of legal liability for infringing output has yet to become any clearer. While legislatures are racing to develop AI regulation, and disgruntled authors are leading class-action lawsuits against AI tech giants, what does the current law say? Join Diana Bikbaeva of Marashlian & Donahue, PLLC, in discussing how the existing law treats "AI-powered" torts and what to expect of the arms race of law and technology.
