Forming an LLC or Corporation is just the first step in establishing a legally compliant business. Maintaining good standing in your state of formation—and any foreign states where you operate—is critical to protecting your business from fines, penalties, and even administrative dissolution. However, managing multistate compliance comes with complex challenges, including jurisdiction selection, tax exposure, and registration requirements.
In this webinar, we’ll cover the key steps to properly form and manage your business, the risks of losing good standing, and the importance of having a registered agent in every state where you operate. We’ll also dive into the tax implications of multistate operations, including the impact of South Dakota v. Wayfair on your potential tax exposure.
